Meet our team
Chelsea Duke- Owner
Chelsea founded Glow in her hometown of Eugene in 2011. Her passion is blending the power & strength of a dynamic movement practice with the peace & presence that comes from mindfulness meditation. Weighted classes like Sculpt have become her favorite way to strength train over the last 6 years. Beyond the studio Chelsea is a 2 time lululemon ambassador and has lead the Oregon athletic department in mobility and mindfulness for the last 10 seasons. She and her husband have a full and vibrant family with 5 kids, and a deep love for cooking and home renovation!
Tara Burke
Coming to Eugene from Chicago, Tara's first yoga class was as a senior in highschool. Tara teaches yoga because they believe life can move so quickly nowadays, and the importance of slowing down and noticing our body is a radical gift. They have been practicing since 2005 and teaching since 2011 offering a combined total of 18+ years as well as thousands of hours in training across styles. Their favorite practice of Hatha-Vinyasa blend allows for dynamic movement flows alongside precisional alignment. When practicing Tara loves listening to anything lo-fi, East Forest, or neo soul. They love weaving astrological, practical magic and intentional themes throughout their classes to offer something off the mat and into the world.
Tammy Chan
Tammy came to yoga as a way to find more balance in her life & to heal an ongoing injury from years of athletic wear & tear as a former competitive gymnast & distance runner. After graduate school & working in mental health, she decided to train under & complete her 200-RYT with internationally celebrated yoga teacher, Tiffany Cruikshank. Tammy loves all types of yoga but is most passionate about teaching vinyasa yoga with a focus on healing the body through myofascial release. In her classes, Tammy helps create a whole body experience where she calms the mind & releases tension in the body with breath work while creating balance through her classes. Tammy focuses on human anatomy, seamlessly blending strength & recovery focused exercises in her sequencing. As both a student and teacher of yoga, Tammy is committed to sharing the incredible benefits of yoga with as many individuals as possible.
Mary Fiedler
Meet Mary! As a licensed massage therapist for 8yrs, she discovered Sculpt as a medium to empower and encourage individuals to take an active role in shaping their well being. Through conscious movement and breath, we are reminded of our ability to tap into our innate capacity to reveal, transform and shift ourselves. With her kinesthetic awareness and continued fascination of the human body and spirit, she brings an uplifting and lively attitude to the mat.
Gabe Hawkins
Hi, I’m Gabe! I teach Sculpt here at Glow, and I’m a student at the University of Oregon. I hope to connect everyone, including students like myself to their best fitness potential. My goal is to create a fun and refreshing environment in my classes that will help people fall in love with working out, as well as getting a good sweat in. I love helping people find a workout that they love and crave to do; especially when it’s hard due to a busy and stressful daily schedule. I want to create a welcoming space where everyone can go at their own pace and style.
Sara Bowin
My name is Sara, and I’m a certified Pilates instructor from Santa Cruz, California. Sienna Griggs
Hi, I’m Sienna, here to share the steadiness yoga has brought to my life. I'm committed to making yoga accessible, easing the mind, body, and breath into alignment and connection — one class, one breath, one moment at a time. My goal? To help you discover your own moments of ease, strength, and stillness, both on and off the mat. Let’s grow and flow together! When I'm not on the mat, you can usually find me reading a good book or enjoying time with my two daughters and husband.
Courtney Apker
My name is Courtney and I’ve had a lifelong passion for fitness, fun, and holistic wellness. Those elements led me to yoga. As a busy mom, healthcare professional, and student of life, I found Yoga and fell in love with the practice. My natural curiosity led me to instructor training, which opened my eyes to the endless styles of yoga and the beauty of the philosophy. I have been a student of the practice for over a decade, and completed my instructor training in 2024. My classes focus on individual internal connection, movement, strength, flexibility, some laughs as we learn together and perhaps a bit of sweat! I look forward to sharing my practice with you!
Karoline Weins
Karoline is your guide to an invigorating Sculpt class. She honed her skills in the Midwest, where she spent three years dedicated to group fitness instruction and earned her barre, sculpt and 200-hour Yoga Alliance certifications. After moving to Eugene in August 2022, she is still on a path to inspire and uplift students through many forms of movement. You can expect Karoline’s method of instruction to be infused with an unwavering commitment to pushing students beyond their limits. She infuses her two decades of competitive dance into her yoga practice with grace and fluidity, creating a beautiful yet challenging experience. Her classes transcend mere workouts; they're journeys to uncover your true potential.

Valerie Ponce
My name is Valerie Ponce, I’m one of the Sculpt instructors here at Glow. As a new teacher I’m thrilled to connect with a community of people who show up to take care of themselves. Practicing the connection of mind, body, and soul is ultimately why I’m inspired to teach. I love sculpting because the workout not only challenges your physical strength but also your mental grit. No matter what you’re bringing into the studio you can expect to leave feeling accomplished, grounded, and certainly sweaty. I look forward to meeting you in the studio!
Lindsey Thesing
Hi, I’m Lindsey! I’m one of your Sculpt instructors but chances are you might have seen my face around the studio as a student. In 2011 I was convinced to try a yoga class at Hard Core Yoga (now Glow Yoga), I was hooked and I’ve been a regular ever since. I’m a nurse, a mom, and I love to give my classes (and myself!) the most fun and sweaty workouts I can possibly concoct.
The class varieties at Glow vary quite a bit in content, but I love that they all foster presence of mind and intentional movement. Whether moving fast or slow, with ease or with an exasperated grunt; my goal as an instructor is to encourage you to move with fiery strength, an engaged mind, and awesome alignment.
Ryleigh Hutson
Ryleigh is a certified Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor originally from Ohio, driven by a deep passion for mindful movement and breath. Her journey into Pilates led her to earn her certification, with the goal of sharing the transformative power of intentional movement. Her classes are designed to help practitioners build core strength, enhance body awareness, and foster harmony between mind, body, and soul. With a focus on slow, methodical exercises, Ryleigh emphasizes the breath, form, and control to guide clients in connecting deeply with their powerhouse. She encourages a conscious connection to breath throughout the practice, creating a flow that enhances the body’s natural movement. In her classes, participants embrace Pilates fundamentals, improve functional movement, and flow to powerful music, all while experiencing the joy of this mindful movement practice.
Abby Compton
Hello, I’m Abby and I’m a new sculpt instructor here at Glow Yoga! I started my yoga journey shortly after I had my 2nd child, in search for a sense of community and regaining strength. I hope to bring those same aspects to my class. I look forward to sweating it out on the mat with you all!
Chloe Jade Jacobs
Hi my name is Chloe Jade! I am a Psychology undergraduate at the University of Oregon. Most humans on this earth are dealing with the weight of their trauma. Weight lifting was my main coping mechanism. Over using coping mechanisms to an unhealthy point took a huge toll on my body and landed me in the ER 3 times in 6 months. I had to quit heavy lifting and I started going to Glow. Doing yoga made me much more present, connected, and in tune with my body & emotions. I was able to regulate and breathe. To sit with myself. My life started to blossom with intention and gratitude. I started to feel consistently happy because of new found internal connection and calm. Now my area of interest is the psychology of movement and how it affects our mental health. By teaching yoga sculpt I hope to bring a little more connection to my students’ lives. Sometimes on our mat is the only time we get for ourselves so I try to understand and honor our time together by teaching a challenging, encouraging, and welcoming class for all. A class that nourishes and feeds your soul in one way or another.
Sarah Bowden
Naturally strong but notoriously unathletic, 10 years ago I discovered yoga, a practice that balanced both strength and grace. Lucky to find a home at Glow (back in the Hard Core Yoga days) I jumped at the chance to receive my 200 hour yoga teaching certification. Whether I’m challenging students with kettlebells or moving through a sweaty rhythmic Power Flow sprinkled with arm balances and inversions, the beauty of yoga is the opportunity to offer students options to open the door to make each practice their own… And of course a playlist that includes more than a couple of my most favorite throwbacks to keep you moving right along.
Madison Tilley
My name is Madison Tilley, I’m a 200-hr registered yoga instructor from Boulder, Colorado. Yoga has ultimately shaped my perspective on life as a whole and it is my passion to share it with my community. The practice of yoga is all about letting go of attachment and exploring the mind-body connection, it is always my number one goal to create a safe and nurturing environment to do so. My classes will focus on proper alignment and mindful transitions so you can get the most out of your practice! I look forward to seeing you in the studio to tap into the transformative power of yoga together!
Lindsay Glugatch
Hi! My name is Lindsay Glugatch. I completed my yoga sculpt training in Santa Barbara, California before moving to Oregon. While completing my doctoral degree at University of Oregon, yoga helped me maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle while practicing being present. Yoga has provided me with a strong and supportive community and a place to truly let go. I love adding on to traditional yoga poses with some strength and heat. Can’t wait to sweat it out with you in yoga sculpt!
Ellie Wiltshire
My name is Ellie, I am sculpt yoga instructor and sports dietitian from the East Coast of Australia. When I first started yoga, I was completely drawn into the practice as a moving meditation, and way to tune in to my body through movement. I love the integration of strength, endurance, presence and FUN that comes with a sweaty sculpt practice, and feel grateful to share that with our community at Glow.
Jessalyn Ballerano
An experienced doula, childbirth educator, and holistic health advocate for over a decade, Jessalyn is thrilled to integrate fitness and mindful movement into her offerings for our community. As a new Sculpt instructor at Glow, she is honored to guide students through a journey of inner and outer capacity-building, intentional self-discovery, and the powers of self-regulation and care. She loves the combinations of strength-building, mobility, flexibility and mental focus that define our classes, and will take every opportunity to remind you to find the alignments and energetic dynamics that most serve your unique journey.
Jemma Neff
Jemma has been practicing yoga for the past 10 years and dreamed of being an instructor since joining Yoga Club at UC Davis during college. She recently received her 200hr through Glow Yoga’s Inaugural YTT. Jemma is a believer that yoga is for anyone and everyone and hopes to bring awareness that it can be accessible to anyone from a newbie to athletes. As a fellow runner, Jemma is excited to offer a mobility class as a complimentary resource to your workout routine.
Nayeli Barboza
