Commit to consistent self care to feel your best this Fall! Join us September 25th - October 22nd for our Fall Glow Up Challenge, and create wellness routines to take you through the season with strength and intention. 

We all get off our routines in the Summer, so each Fall we commit to 16 classes in 4 weeks to reset our habits and take care of our bodies and minds. You'll track your classes with a sticker chart, and everyone who completes the challenge is entered to win a month unlimited membership at Glow! We'll also be sending you accountability check ins, healthy Fall recipes, and other bonus content to keep you motivated.

Finally!!! We made merch! And the REALLY cool thing about our unisex hoodies is they are made by the youth at Connected Lane. You get an awesome Glow sweatshirt AND we are supporting this amazing non-profit that creates so many opportunities for the kids in our community.

Orders are taken this week only! Fill out the Google form below to place your order now. Payment will be taken at pickup which will be in early June. Sweatshirts are $39 with all proceeds going to Connected Lane. We will have a full size run from XS-3XL and white (with black print) or navy blue (with white print) options. Please join us in raising funds and providing paid work to the youth at Connected Lane, and in repping Glow with a really nice lightweight hoodie that's perfect to throw over yoga clothes!

2023 Flow + Restore Yoga Retreat

Join us in beautiful Baja Mexico for our annual Flow & Restore Yoga Retreat! This year we will be on the stunning Sea of Cortez coast at Hotel Todo Bien in La Ventana. We will savor 5 days of yoga, meditation, breathwork, journaling, healthy meals, and community connection. Todo Bien is a small boutique hotel that we will have all to ourselves. With just 12 beautifully curated rooms, this retreat will be an intimate and special experience with direct access to an endless beach that stretches for miles each way, luxury accommodations, and special twice daily themed yoga and meditation practices. We will have plenty of free time to either relax by the pool or on the beach, or join in on an excursion. There is a ton to do in La Venatana…we will have the option to boat and snorkel at nearby Isla Cerralvo (scuba is available to coordinate too), kayak, paddle board, mountain bike, hike through the local arroyos or the giant cactus forest, visit the local beach club, or do a deep sea sport fishing charter.

 

We went down to Todo Bien in September to check it out and were blown away by the beauty of this hotel, the endless ocean views, and the unique flavor of the local area that is about 2 hours north of Cabo. We can’t wait to share this magical place with our retreat students in May! Since there are only 12 rooms space is very limited, and bookings are first come first serve. What’s included:

-5 nights accommodations at Hotel Todo Bien

-2 daily yoga practices (morning vinyasa & breathwork, evening restorative)

-Bonus sunrise meditation sessions

-Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, early morning coffee, tea, and snack & purified fruit infused drinking water

-Use of paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkel equipment

-1 60 minute massage or spa treatment done in the privacy of your room or personal balcony

Sample schedule:

 

6-7:30 am: Coffee, tea, juice, light snacks available

6:30-6:45 am: optional sunrise meditation (there is a BREATH TAKING view of the sun rising over the Sea of Cortez right in front of us each morning)

7:45-9:00 am: Morning vinyasa flow & breathwork

9:00-10:00 am: Breakfast

10:00 am-2:00 pm: Free time to swim, go to the beach, rest, read by the pool, or do an optional excursion.

2:00-3:00 pm: Lunch

3:00-5:00 pm: Free time/siesta time

5:00-6:00 pm: Restorative stretching and breath practice

6:15 pm-7:00 pm: Optional cocktail hour by the pool

7:00-8:00 pm: Dinner

Payment options:

 

Check or PayPal. It is strongly preferred to have full payment at time of reservation. If you need to break payments up we are requiring a 50% deposit to reserve your spot, then 2 additional payments with the total balance due 60 days before the retreat. There will be a 3% charge for doing the payment plan option. No refunds. Reservations are first come first serve. Take your practice to the next level with a deeper understanding of alignment, transitions, and how to find the right movement for YOU! Join Eva and Brenda for a 2 part yoga alignment fundamentals workshop Saturdays 1/14 and 1/21. In these two 75 minute classes we will go over the most commonly practiced yoga postures, transitions, and alignment and misalignment tendencies. Breakdowns will include down dog, chaturanga, vinyasa variations, stepping forward from down dog, warrior postures, and more. Learn how to find proper alignment and how to modify based on your needs. This two part workshop will be a small group session with lots of 1 on 1 adjustments and connections with your instructors. Any level of experience will benefit from this alignment deep dive, and all are welcome! Space is very limited so we can ensure lots of hands on help and guidance for each student, so make sure to register now if you want a spot!

Mindfulness and Meditation for Educators and Parents

Stress affects everyone at every age and we live in a very busy world. This 2 part workshop will be focused on mindfulness practices for educators and parents. Working with students often means working with variable emotions throughout the day. We will focus on education of short mindfulness practices for students as well as tools for parents and educators to begin their own practice. In learning how we relate to stress we can begin to manage our own responses and appreciate the moments in our lives and with our people.
This workshop will include:
How mindfulness can create patterns of responses vs reactivity.
Simple mindfulness practices for students K-12
Simple mindfulness practices for educators and parents.
Yoga poses for young children to create awareness in their bodies.
Learning to mind your mind.

Mindfulness teaches kids to slow down, to name their feelings and notice how feelings can “pop up” out of nowhere.It provides tools to better manage stress and anxiety, improving a sense of well being in the classroom and at home. This workshop is divided into two parts - each will one hour sessions with a presentation and mindfulness/ meditation practice led by Brandy.
Learn how mindfulness creates presence, calmness, awareness and clarity for yourself, your classroom and your home.
Please bring a pillow and blanket from home.

Jessica is a California girl, born and raised near Los Angeles. She recently spent 6 months on the island of Maui to host a 300-person yoga and music retreat in the beginning of 2019 and then moved to Eugene with her family in June 2019 for her daughter to start kindergarten. One of her greatest gifts is bringing people together to explore all the parts of themselves through movement. Jessica creates spaces full of music and playfulness to allow all presence to relax into deeper awareness, breath and connection to Spirit. Her first 200-hour yoga-teacher training was with David Lynch and Anne Van Valkenburg in 2012, and was immediately followed by a 300-hour professional program at YogaWorks where she was mentored by Rachael Simmons, apprenticed in her Level 1 Beginner class for over 6 months, and began her love for hands-on adjustments. Jessica is a 500 E-RYT  with Yoga Alliance, which includes many hours of training in specific modalities such as sculpt, yin, restorative, pilates-fusion, and bikram-fusion styles. She also holds several barre certifications and has taught ballet-based fitness classes for 8 years. She loves teaching private and group classes to students who need more individualized attention; she especially loves working with beginners and other special-needs students like mammas and athletes. Outside of yoga, Jessica enjoys being creative as much as possible. She loves sewing, crocheting, knitting, cooking, baking, dancing, nature, and spending as much time with loved ones as possible. Jessica believes that yoga is the path to true oneness, vitality and peace.  She knows that if she follows the yogic path, all will be well, and she wants to share this wisdom with everyone. She truly believes that if every person on this planet was doing yoga, this world would be a much more beautiful place.
